CHARACTER SOUND ID, SITUATIONS AND CONTEXTS
CUSTOMIZED MUSIC SET TO IMAGERY
It goes without saying the importance that music has in film. It accompanies and helps understand the character’s psychology, it surrounds and guides the viewer through a series of non verbal codes that better help understand the scenes. It is also an added artistic value in the ensemble of creative elements that make up a film.
PERFECT OPENINGS, ENDING AND TRANSITIONS
TOTAL SYNCHRONIZATION
Customized music means exactly this, perfectly defined scenes, transitions, fadings…the secret of good audiovisual music lies in becoming an undivided element of the image. Reaching a point where music is the only possibility given the context of what we want to convey.
REVIEWS AND CORRECTIONS
PROFESSIONAL SUBMISSION DEADLINES
We dive into the subjective realm where continuous dialogue with the director will be the basis of a perfect interpretation. We won’t always start from the same point of view but my previously contrasted plan of work takes into account the reviews and enables the correction to carry out the work forward in the most efficient way possible. We know that time is very limited, therefore it is essential to work in the most effective manner, committing to deliver the tasks under previously agreed deadlines.
STEREOS AND STEMS FOR 5.1/ 7.1
FINAL PRODUCT
We want to achieve the best sound possible, which is why we have to coordinate and optimal workflow of delivery with the studio where the final mix takes place. This allows us to save studio time so we can take advantage to really bring out the best of the mix. To achieve this, I export the mixes – stereo as well as “stems” and “bounces” independently into instrument groups or different assignations of the scene. This way it is easier to blend the dialogue tracks perfectly– effects/sound postproduction and original soundtrack.
